The Mexican Vitiligo and Skin Disease: Vitiligo A Skin of Colors

By 9 July 2024No Comments

The Mexican Vitiligo and Skin Disease organisation inaugurated the travelling photographic exhibition “Vitíligo: una piel de colores” (Vitiligo: A Skin of Colors).

The exhibition aimed to educate people about the non-contagious nature of vitiligo and to debunk myths and stigmas.

The chosen form of art for expressing patterns and symmetry through the lens was photography, reflecting the way vitiligo is perceived. This approach reflects social change and seeks change in perception about vitiligo.
